AccuFit Grip Wrist Suspension Cuffs

These wonderful suspension cuffs are a major improvement over other handgrip-style designs. They're equipped with the AccuFit Locking Closure, and adjust in 1/4" increments to ensure a proper fit on almost anyone. These cuffs use a double pole AccuFit post, for added strength and to prevent the cuff body from twisting as any single-point closure (including a roller buckle) will.

As you can see in the picture gallery, the cuff body is gently curved. This carefully designed curve closes into a conical shape (like a funnel) that closely mirrors the shape of the human wrist and lower hand. Because this cuff actually fits the human body, suspended weight is distributed over a larger area. The top edge doesn't dig in to the lower hand as straight cuffs do, so this grip cuff is comfortable in suspension even if the occupant isn't supporting their own weight on the handgrips.

AccuFit grip cuffs also feature a custom designed and constructed chain connection fitting. The chain fittings are offset, so load is supported at a point near the top of the base plate. This makes a significant difference... other fittings force the top of the base plate into the side of the hand, while my fittings pull the entire plate up and out, preventing pinching or undesirable pressure found in other designs.

Each pair of these cuffs comes with two AccuFit double posts, rubber gel grips, steel chain, and six QuickLink screw-down fittings. Each cuff comes with approximately 25" of 3/16" proof coil chain, rated for 600 pound loads. While you may cut the middle link to get two independent chains, I don't recommend it. Connected properly, as delivered, a single length of chain is the strongest arrangement.

The grip/chain assembly may be easily removed from the cuff. It attaches with two of the included screw-down fittings. Either piece may be used separately. The grip makes an excellent handgrip for many applications, such as free-standing bondage, SM on a St. Andrew's cross, and so on. Because the cuff is designed for suspension applications, it will not perform as well as a standard wrist cuff in general use. One exception is when the directional pull is radial, away from the body.

The AccuFit grip cuffs fit wrists sized 5.5 - 8.75" in circumference to the nearest 1/4", and can be made slightly larger or smaller upon request. These cuffs are lined with heavy felt to cushion the hand from key post backs.
