Mini Steel Spreader BarsThe security of steel! These versatile spreader bars are made from 1/2" square section steel tubing. Don't let the small size fool you... these are high quality, high strength spreaders. Constructed from 100% welded steel, with dressed (rounded) ends. These bars are light and strong, and finished in basic black. Both ends of each bar have welded threaded inserts to accept eyebolts or other 1/4"-20 threaded accessories. Each bar is shipped with a pair of fittings... nickel plated eyebolts, neoprene backed washers to protect the finish on ends, and nuts that allow fittings to be secured at any point in rotation. A wrench is recommended for secure placement of eyebolts, but not required. One sturdy attachment hoop is welded in the center of each bar. Multiple bars may be combined by screwing one attachment point through another. For example, you could use a long bar to spread the ankles, a shorter bar to spread the wrists, and a third bar between the prior two to keep wrist and ankles a certain distance apart. Very confining and awkward positions can be forced using this approach. Restraints are not included with bars. Because included eyebolts may be backed out slightly, exact length is adjustable about 1" with the included hardware. These bars are not designed for load-bearing suspension applications. However, they make excellent spreading bars for load-bearing chains, an application that applies only compression force on the bar.
