Panic Snaps
Panic snaps are a secure quick-release mechanism. They are secure until activated and then release completely, and can let go under a load (not true of QuickLinks or spring clips). Many people use them in suspension play, but I don't recommend it. Suspension should be done with a controlled release mechanism... something that allows you to lower the occupant, not dump them on their butt (or head).
Panic snaps are great for standing bondage, and virtually any non-suspension bondage situation you'd like to release quickly. These are very heavy pieces made from malleable iron, strong and well-made.

1" panic snap, nickel. This snap is made to be permanently secured to a 1" wide strap. Great on cuffs and tethers. |

 |
1/2" panic snap, nickel. This snap is made for use with a carabiner or quick link. Excellent with quick link and a length of chain, making an adjustable and hefty attachment that rattles satisfyingly. |
|
Swivel Snaps
Swivel snaps are used on leashes and tethers for the most part... anywhere a quick, light attachment is desired. Zinc diecast construction.

3/4" swivel snap, nickel. This snap is made to be permanently secured to a 3/4" wide strap. Nice for tethers and medium weight leashes. |

 |
1/2" swivel snap, nickel. This snap is made to be permanently secured to the end of a piece of chain. The rounded back end lets the snap slide freely with a chain link. Nice for chain tethers and leashes. |

1/2" swivel snap, nickel. This is a very light nickel-plated snap, also nice for light tethers and leashes. |

Double End Snaps
The fastest and easiest way to attach one point to another. Piston-style snap on each end, won't open accidentally. Never use any double end snap as load-bearing in full suspension! Zinc diecast construction.

Double end snaps, nickel. Available in medium and large, 3-1/2" and 4-3/4" total length respectively. |

Clamps
Clamps are, of course, very useful hardware bits. Those I'm selecting for this section are primarily intended as stimulation devices ;). I'll stay on the lookout for more clamp styles that I can offer at attractive prices, and will hopefully be adding several more in the near future.

Clover clamp, nickel. These the familiar Clover clamps... when pulled, the jaws tighten. I looked into a less expensive brand with similar design, but frankly it was junk. The actual Clover brand, made in Japan, is the way to go. |

Small alligator clamp with rubber tips. Adjustable with simple thumbscrew, these smaller alligator clamps provide a relatively powerful clamping force. They may not open widely enough for larger nipples. |

 |
Large alligator clamp with rubber tips. Adjustable with simple thumbscrew, these larger alligator clamps have an extended jaw to open wider and distribute force over more area. |

 |
Tweezer clamp, nicely made in solid brass with nickel plating. Rubber tips and slide ring to adjust tension. Very nice versions of this design. |

Clover clamp set, nickel. The traditional configuration of two Clover brand clamps (actual ones) connected by a nice length of chain. |
